Ordained Mercilessness
by Kyjin

I have been cursed with the power of sight
I dare not open my eyes to a world filled with fright
My innocence lost in the stream of time
Evil has shown to me its bloody crime

The visions I see, the suffering I feel
Drains my life and distorts all that is real
A kaleidoscope of agony radiates in my iris
As fellow beings fall to the homicidal virus

The old weak and tenderhearted woman
Sitting in her lonesome chair like a mannequin
Stripped of life and lives in waking death
Fighting decay with every beat and breath

The dusty-eyed child skimmers along the cracked earth
Finding his way with uncertainty since the age of birth
Solemn and shamed in his world of hideous darkness
Alone and despised with equal hatred of one’s viciousness

The wounded beast lies helpless shrieking in pain and terror
Struggling relentlessly to end the mind shattering torture
With blood endlessly drooling on the pure vampiric dirt
Convulsing uncontrollably with screams unheard

Pain, suffering, torment, agony
Clefts my heart and beckons maladies
Visions of horror freezes my blood
And causes my eyes to drain in floods

The rotting carcass withers with shame
Deteriorating incessantly with the sands untamed
Choked by the dead poisonous air
Ravaged with disease and undead glare

The deformed monster drags on in fear
Injuries in his heart that he alone bears
Beaten and distrusted with pure apathy
Alienated from love and drowned in agony

The woeful girl wails in violent denial
Of her father’s fading flesh rank and file
Undeserved and unforgiving she seeks
The divine justice and death’s peak
The visions I see, the suffering I feel
Drains my life and distorts all that is real
A kaleidoscope of agony radiates in my iris
As fellow beings fall to the homicidal virus

I have been cursed with the power of sight
I dare not open my eyes to a world filled with fright
My innocence lost in the stream of time
Evil has shown to me its bloody crime
